In Matthew chapter 15, Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus and asked a question about ceremonialism. He answered them then called the multitude to Himself and said, “Hear and understand. Not what enters into the mouth defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

This passage in Matthew inspired me to look at and write about some of the more challenging teachings of Jesus.
