Reflections

…to carry everything to God in prayer. Was my honor to pray in all 87 Minnesota counties this year. About half of those I had others praying with me. Minnesota belongs to Jesus. May there be light, life and love here in honor of Him and for the benefit of all people living in the state.

My husband declares this time of year is his favorite. I like spring, but fall colors on a warm sunny September day are something to admire.

Since the peas first ripened in June we have been enjoying the produce from our garden. We are getting toward the end and I still am reaping what was sown. There has been enough to process by canning and freezing and to share. For this we are thankful.

Nice to have a dog who enjoys Lake Superior as much as we do.

The series continues. Maya and Max are regular kids facing some issues kids face. See how they navigate life in 5th grade. “The Christmas Program” is the sixth in an eight book series. Third through sixth graders like this series. Each book has discussion questions on topics coming from the story. Suggested uses: individual reader, small group reading and discussion and parent-child read and discuss.

Fun to see Granddaughter in a junior version of the Little Mermaid. Afterward she came back to the cabin with us for the weekend meteor show event. We were up at 4:30 am enjoying the show. Meteors, satellites, the Milky Way, constellations and at least one planet! Astronomy was her favorite this past year in homeschool.

They inspire me to write…and inspire me to be a loving Grandma.

The grandkids enjoy being at the cabin with us. This summer they here when the blueberries and raspberries are ripe.
