A while back I was wondering what a MacDonalds burger cost back when they started. I found the following:

Then I found the following:

2018 prices were still pretty good.
I’m not sure why I started thinking about the price of fast food. Maybe it has something to do with the last burger I bought.

So, what adventures come next? Frog hunting for one.

Praying “onsite for insight” is a strategy for prayer I learned while living in Texas. So,today my daughter, her kids and I went to the county courthouse in our county to pray. I went on to two other county seats and made a day of it.
I do gain insight or get a better understanding of a place and its people when I actually go there. It is an honor to bring the needs of our communities to our Father in heaven. He knows, of course, our needs better than we do, but Jesus instructed us to “ask” “seek” and “knock.” So, that’s what I do in prayer. (See Matthew 7:7.)

Florida is a fascinating place. And a change in climate from snowy, cold Minnesota. Both are beautiful in their own way.

There’s something to be said about traveling. We get to see other parts of God’s creation and enjoy.

Both days were beautiful in their own way.

Lots of snow in Minnesota this winter. It makes for a beautiful landscape. Couldn’t resist building a fire and roasting hot dogs.

Well, we moved to MN a couple weeks ago and now we are only an hour and 3/4 from the cabin. Of course we had to come see it. Lots of snow this winter so I snowshoed in since the driveway has not been plowed.
Have the wood stove going inside and sitting on the porch steps in the sun makes for a gorgeous setting.
I have two manuscripts to work on, so this week needs to be a work week. I will schedule in some fun in the snow, too.

Moving on in our adventurous journey of life…the grandkids are enjoying their first MN winter.
